Who we are and what this covers
Neoja (NEOJA, נאוג׳ה; “we”, “our” or “us”) operates the basketball entertainment venue, the venue website at neoja.co.il and the account and booking services on neoja.com. This consolidated policy explains the information handled by each service, including information obtained through Google sign-in. An enquiry on the venue website and a booking account have different purposes; the sections below distinguish them.
For questions or privacy requests, email info@neoja.com.
Information we collect
Venue enquiries and event quotes
When you contact us through the venue website’s forms or pop-ups, we collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, organization, phone number, email and message. We use them to answer your enquiry, coordinate an event or activity and tailor a quote or package. Providing information is voluntary, but without the contact details needed for a request we may be unable to respond or prepare a proposal.
Where you separately agree, the venue’s marketing service may send updates and offers, subject to applicable law. You can withdraw that consent by contacting us or using an unsubscribe option in the message. Signing in with Google or receiving an operational booking email does not itself subscribe you to marketing.
Account and Google sign-in information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, email address and its verification status, name and profile picture information. We use these to create or recognize your NEOJA account. Our account record holds your account identifier, email, display name, picture information and account creation and last-login times.
Bookings and communications
We collect the organizer’s name and email, group name, venue, scheduled time, visit length and separate adult-rate and child counts. We also store optional contact information and additional notes that you provide, the terms accepted with the booking, booking references, prices, payment and refund status and references, cancellation records, visit status and booking-message delivery records.
We use this information to reserve capacity, show and manage your booking, support check-in, reconcile payments and cancellations, and send confirmation, cancellation and update emails. Please avoid putting sensitive personal information into free-text notes.
Information at the venue
Reception staff can enter player names, the adult-rate or child age category and optional photos for a visit, record arrival and terminal-payment receipts, and manage the session. Name-only participation is supported. Players in a public booking are recorded for that visit and are not automatically linked to the organizer’s Google account or added to personal account histories.
Separate account-based venue features may hold profiles, dependent accounts, check-in records and game statistics. Information supplied to those features is distinct from the organizer’s group booking.
Technical information
Our systems may process device and connection information, IP addresses, request and login times, and error or security records to operate the service, resolve problems and protect accounts.
How we access and use Google user data
- Identify you: your Google account identifier connects sign-in to your NEOJA account.
- Manage your bookings: your name and email help identify the organizer and provide access to the correct reservations.
- Contact you: your email is used for booking messages and account or support communications.
- Display your profile: your name and picture information can appear in account features.
The booking sign-in requests only OpenID Connect sign-in, email and basic profile permissions (openid, email and profile). It does not request Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Calendar entries or contacts, and we never receive your Google password.
The booking sign-in exchanges a temporary authorization code with Google to authenticate you and obtain basic profile information. It does not request ongoing offline access to Google services. NEOJA then uses its own session cookie. The account information already received remains in our records when you sign out.
We do not sell personal information. Google data received for booking is used for the purposes described here, not for advertising targeting or training artificial-intelligence models.
Where information is stored and who receives it
Account and booking records are stored in our cloud systems. The venue receives the organizer’s contact details, booking information and relevant payment and visit status so authorized staff can provide reception and support. Booking information is not a public guest list.
- Infrastructure providers: we use Amazon Web Services and MongoDB Atlas for cloud infrastructure and data services. These providers process information needed to host and operate the service.
- Venue enquiries: providers supporting the venue website, customer-enquiry management and mailing services may process the information needed for those purposes. These are separate from the booking infrastructure described here; submitting an enquiry does not create a Google-linked booking account.
- Booking email: Amazon Simple Email Service processes the recipient address and message content to deliver booking communications and provide delivery or failure information.
- Google: Google processes sign-in under its privacy policy. Loading Google sign-in, the embedded venue map, profile images or Google-hosted fonts may also send ordinary connection information to Google.
- Authorized staff: access is provided for operating the venue, handling bookings, resolving payment issues and responding to support requests.
- Legal and security purposes: information may be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse or keep the service secure.
Visit players and photos
Public-session player rosters, optional photos and detailed player game records are kept in the venue system rather than exported into cloud account histories or public tournament galleries. Uploaded visit photos have image metadata removed and are served through authorized private routes. Booking and session outcomes needed to operate the service are synchronized with the cloud without the player roster.
Payments
Online card payments are not yet active. When they are, card details are entered only on the secure payment page of our payment provider, HYP, not on NEOJA's site, and NEOJA does not store card numbers. Where a venue confirms registrations without online payment, the price is paid at reception. NEOJA booking records contain amounts, references and payment/refund status. Information about the payment provider and its processing will be provided when online payment becomes available; do not send card numbers or security codes to our support inbox.
Other venue features
Account-based gameplay, tournaments or galleries may display usernames, scores or submitted content as part of those features. That does not make your booking contact details or private visit-player photos public.
How long we keep information
We retain account information while the account is active or as needed to provide the service. Booking, payment-status and support records may remain after a visit for service administration, reconciliation, disputes and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Signing out or removing Google access does not automatically erase information already stored by NEOJA.
Enquiry and marketing records are kept as needed to handle the request or consented communications and applicable recordkeeping needs. You can ask us to review or delete those records, or stop marketing messages.
Visit names and optional photos can remain in venue records and backups after the session; they are not automatically erased at the end of play. Contact us to request review or deletion. Historical game statistics used by separate account-based leaderboard features may be retained indefinitely for that purpose, subject to applicable rights and deletion requests.
We review deletion requests against the records concerned and any information we need to retain for legal, security or dispute-resolution reasons. Backup copies may remain until those backups are replaced or removed.
Your choices and privacy requests
We handle requests under applicable privacy law, including Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741–1981, as amended. You may request access to information about you and correction or deletion of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, subject to the conditions of applicable law.
- Leave optional booking notes or contact fields blank where offered. Ask reception to use a player name without a photo.
- Request access to or correction of your information, or deletion of your account or relevant records, by emailing info@neoja.com.
- Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing or receive a portable copy of your data.
- Review or remove NEOJA’s connection through your Google account connections. Removing the connection and asking NEOJA to delete existing records are separate actions.
Include the account email or booking reference so we can locate the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity before giving access or making changes. Do not send your password or payment-card details.
Children and group participation
The group organizer supplies information for the booking. For booking prices we record whether a participant is younger than 8, rather than collecting a date of birth. Other players do not need Google accounts to participate in that group. Only provide another person’s information when you are authorized to do so; obtain a parent or guardian’s consent where required for a child.
Separate dependent-account features are managed by the parent or guardian account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Contact us if you believe a child’s information has been provided improperly.
Policy updates and contact
We may update this policy as our services change. The current version and updated date are published here. New data uses, including the introduction of real online payment processing, will be explained in the applicable information before those services are offered.
